Sustain pedal support in FL Studio Mobile / DirectWave

The sustain pedal seems to work in general when one is playing, but how do I record it while using DirectWave? FLM records the controller data to a CC64 automation track, but there seems to be no method to control DirectWave properly with the data on that track. The pedal data is useless, if the plugin does not accept and follow it (and assigning it to for instance to the envelope release parameter is useless). This is a huge issue for any pianist using FLM/DirectWave for any instrument except drums, not to mention trying to record any actual piano playing.

What is more, it seems to me that it should be possible to use the pedal in two modes:
  • First, FL records no CC data but instead the note lengths as resulted in from playing with the pedal (FLM supports the pedal).
  • Second, FL records CC data and the note lengths without the effect of the pedal, and all plugins support both sustain pedal as it works in reality and automating it via an automation track (plugin supports the pedal).

Please, fix this shortage soon! And while you are it, please add the same kind of support for the sostenuto pedal as well—it is only a minor variation of the theme (no pun intended :) ).
