Connecting MIDI keyboard to iPad

I saw a video with an iPad running FL Studio Mobile connected to a MIDI keyboard.

Is it connected with the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit and a normal USB MIDI converter?

I am using the E-MU Xmidi 1x1 Tab on the iMac does it also work on the iPad?
According to the info on the E-MU site is supports CoreMIDI and according to the description of FL Studio Mobile HD it is also compatible with CoreMIDI(MIDI in and out).
