FL Studio Crashing My MacBook when trying to exit "Plugin locked" screen

When I open a particular FLP, it has a trial plugin which is now locked (transient processor), and it says I can unlock by buying. I don't want to buy right now and want to remove it from the mixer. However when I try and press "OK" or press the "x" button, my whole computer crashes. This has happened multiple times now. I am using a MacBook Pro 2017 which is running macOS Big Sur.
Any fixes (without buying)?
