Does anybody else find this annoying?

Something I've been getting kind of annoyed about when I'm trying to work on sound design, is that anytime I change a perameter while I have a chord progression playing in the background, the sound stops until the next chord hits on playback. Every other synth I've worked on I can hear the change as it's being made so it kind of gets on my nerves. Is there possibly going to be a fix for this? Or is it the way that harmor works that I just have to deal with it?
