Dear Image-Line,
As a long time user of Gross Beat, I can confirm (and I've done tests myself with other similar plugins) that it's one of the best and most essential plugin not only for creative glitching, stuttering, scratching and gating, but especially for sidechaining (since the DSP is insanely precise and follows the curve exactly as its shown)!
The only thing that limits me (especially when I'm using Gross Beat natively inside FL Studio with the Fruity Keyboard Controller) is that there is no way to re-trigger (either volume or time) slots with MIDI notes.
For instance, Cableguys ShaperBox has this feature:
A solution I could propose is to make a button (similar to the "Key-held" and "One-shot" button) that activates MIDI Re-triggering.
Also (since Fruity Keyboard Controller is more of a parameter controller, than a MIDI one), I would suggest to make the native FL Gross Beat plugin to allow receiving a specific MIDI (Out) port, so that we can use the "Key-Held" and the newly added "MIDI Re-trigger" feature.
Thank you for your attention!
Best regards,
DG
