Performance mode - live set, question...

Hi guys,

just trying to learn performance mode these days... i'd like to see if it can be a real alternative to classic dj methods (like deckadance for instance) especially if you are going to play your own tracks...

I watched the videos on imageline youtube channel and it sounds and amazing tool. Anyway there is a thing i couldn't get....... how can you play different tracks in sequence like you do with deckadance for instance????
I assume you have to "merge" all your track into a single fl studio file set to performance mode, haven't you?
I think that importing all the tracks you want for the gig (as audio files, wav) as some djs do with ableton live (also Deadmau5 does that) would be very heavy for the RAM and CPU....

Otherwise which is the purpose of performance mode if you can play just with one track? If you have to do a 2 hours live set how can you manage it? Maybe i'm missing something?
