help xD need to remove plugins from the plugin list

not sure how to remove plugins from the list once they've been scanned. I've tried uninstalling and renaming the vst folder. even moved the folder completely and installed minihost into it's own folder somewhere isolated but it seems to remember every plugin regardless xD

the list is too long to organize and I really only need to access a few of them. how do I remove plugins from the list? and can we get a selection option eventually so we can turn some unwanted plugins off but still have them in the folder?
