FL Studio 12.5, Not Installing 3rd Party Plugins

So, my problem is this: I recently downloaded the newest updated version of FL Studio. I also happened to download a couple of new VSTs. When I go to fast scan to search for them, it pops up with this message:
Cannot create file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Image-Line\FL Studio 12\Data\Patches\Plugin Database\Installed\Generators\VST\". The system cannot find the path specified.
On top of that, only a select 8 or 12 plugins from the library of 40-50 seem to work. What confuses me is that when I go to upload projects that I had worked on on previous versions, the plugins that are not listed still work normally, but only if they are already used in the project. So, FL definitely knows that they are there, but can't seem to download them properly.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
