WE NEED DETAILS!

We appreciate it's frustrating when things don't work as expected. However, please help us to help you by following these suggestions:

  1. Update - Before trying anything else. Download and install the latest version of FL Studio from here. Your bug may be fixed already!
  2. Update plugins - If you are using 3rd party plugins. Look at crash logs for their names. Install the latest version for any you spot. See also Plugins Behaving Badly
  3. Simple clear explanation - Explain what you are doing, or trying to do, and exactly what is happening.
  4. Specific information - a) FL Studio version & build number, b) what you are doing and what happens exactly, c) step-by-step instructions how reproduce the problem.
  5. Screenshots - Another great way to demonstrate issues. Get a free screenshot app here. Include images using the 'Attachments' tab, at the bottom of the post edit window.
  6. A video - The best way of demonstrating many issues. Windows 10 includes an integrated screen recorder, see here OR get a free free recorder here. Include mp4 videos to your post from the 'Attachments' tab, at the bottom of the post edit window.
  7. Use English - Google Translate your post. Short simple sentences in your original language translate best. We are happy to work this way, no need to worry.

Installation/ update & setup problem

Hi

Note: I install and do my setup start on the 1st day always by default, ie I do not change any parameters; I just accept and validate with next. for example from v20.8.2 .. to v20.8.2.99 .... = no problem.
The problems started with the famous warning message "beta version will expire on March 30..Update new beta version ..." or the installation & update of v20.8.3

here is the last message I sent to your colleagues from the support team and they directed me to you for a solution:
I've tried several times to update v20.8.3.23 but I still encounter setup problems like the last time "beta version will expire 30 March". And yet this time I followed and applied your last advice that allowed me to update ie from the source and not the shortened. But yet I encounter the same problems of setup as before your advice.

Note: as the last times although I had problems I still ignored and continued hardly the set up. But yet I encounter the same problems of setup as before your advice: see my screenshots screens.remarque: as the last times although I had problems I still ignored and continued hardly the set up. But yet I encounter the same problems of setup as before your advice: see my screenshots screens.remarque: as the last times although I had problems I still ignored and continued hardly the set up. and I can see the information message that Fl is well installed, but when I check in "Fl-About.." nothing has changed I always see "v20.8.3" and worse when I reopen FL "a message: a new version of fl is available.. and I can see the information message that Fl is well installed, but when I check in "Fl-About.." nothing has changed I always see "v20.8.3" and worse when I reopen FL "a message: a new version of fl is available.. and I can see the information message that Fl is well installed, but when I check in "Fl-About.." nothing has changed I always see "v20.8.3" and worse when I reopen FL "a message: a new version of fl is available.. please update.

Another question :since these setup problems, this time i told myself to monitor and verify the FL installation process: i just noted something, It's signals me that :

-Fl 64bit will be insalled in "C:\Program files\Comon files\VST2

-Fl 32bit will be installed in " C:\Program files(x86)\ VST Plugings

why there are 2 different paths & programs between both

Thanks

Milinor
