I have a track that I wanted to export to MIDI, so I followed the steps in the manual before reading everything, and prepared the entire file for MIDI export. It turned everything into a MIDI track and that wasn't what I really wanted, so I undid everything. Well doing so made that file crash, so I decided to use a backup. As soon as I opened the backup file, my speakers let out a large "POP" sound, something it's never done when opening even the largest of my FL files. So after checking some stuff out, I noticed my alert sounds on my computer (like the sound the volume meter in your system tray makes?) sounded "chiptune-y", and I couldn't get anything in the file to play properly. That was when I noticed my master DB meter (the one on the top of the screen) was FULL BLAST, but the mixer showed nothing playing!
It's not making a drop of sound, but it's screaming its head off! What's going on?
UPDATE: it also popped after I closed the file, and opened a fresh one. So I restarted my computer and everything was fine, even with the backup file
