Undefined External Error MIDI

I have downloaded a File to link my MIDI instrument: Yamaha PSR-E233 to use for FL Studio to start making tracks. The MIDI connector I am using is the M-AUDIO MIDISPORT UNO and it shows in the MIDI settings but everytime I select the input: MIDISPORT UNO IN - I get the message undefined external error. How can I fix this so that I can use my keyboard to start making beats?
