Having trouble wih using my purchased lifetime updates

Sorry to keep asking, but I just purchased the lifetime upgrades for FL Studio 7 PRODUCER EDITION, thats the one I have. The installer on myFL studio page keeps senind me to REGULAR FL7. So when I try to install it, it says I already have the newer version. Aslo, when I do use that regcode for 8, just run it or put it in the registry folder as well and run it??? Big fan of FL, but im very much a noob.
