The downloaded registration code is incorrect.

I bought FL Studio 12 signature edition on Monday & have installed the demo just like it says in the walk-through. downloaded & installed the registry key but when I click the '?' icon & attempt logging in to unlock my products, it prompts me that my registry code is incorrect. Am I missing a step? I have a serial number & paypal receipt to prove I purchased the program. All help is much appreciated.
