vst troubles

I bought the unmix drum vst and im having major problems with it.. im not even sure if i installed it all the way because on the first launch you are supposed to type in an activation code through ilok.. so i get all the way up to submitting my activation code and then nothing is happening.. fL goes to not responding and no progress is made with the activating the vst.. so i do a force quit on the fL.. next time i go to try to launch the vst again through the mixer window I get nothing and fL goes to not responding.. i've tried multiple times to launch the vst through fL and I only come up with that.. I know the image line team is stupendous and will know how to help me out you guys are great
