Direct Wave interprets MIDI data one octave too high

I'm trying to use FL Studio to take some .mid files and use Direct Wave with the Varazdrin Orchestra patch to render the sound. I'm importing my .mid file into a new project (and deselect the Create Fruity LSD option), and then right clicking the track instrument and replacing it with a Direct Wave instrument. When I play back the track, the few notes that are not out of range are an octave too high. The same thing happens when I play on my old MIDI keyboard - playing a middle C4 results in a note that sounds like C5. How do I adjust Direct Wave to the MIDI data?
