Very Technical Problem

Hello I was using the fl studio demo to create beats and I like what I created. I tried saving it but i was told i need to buy fl studio to save my file. I didn't want to lose what i produced so I bought the $99.9 fl studio. I have done the installation several times, gone to the "about" and tried to unlock the full version but after reopening the fl studio I still have the demo back on. What can i do. I have seen several videos, completed the steps shown but it still keeps coming back as a demo.
