Registration code error each time i try to unlock my software

Hello, I recently bought FL studio and made an account (obviously) and then registered my product on the website, but when i go to unlock it within the software under the "about" pannel, it rejects it and wont let me log in or register a product. I am using the same log in information as i do for here. Is there a step im missing? The message it gives me when i type in my info is "The download of the registration code failed. Please double check your username and password and contact imageline if the problem persists."

Not sure whats going on or if ive missed a step. If someone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it.
