No input/output from usb device on FL Studio 20 for Mac

Hello,

I am currently having a problem in which my microphone is not being picked up within FL Studio. First, I want to explain that I am using a Neewer NW-700 microphone. I have the power supply hooked up and all. This microphone comes with audio jack for input instead of a usb. Because of this, I bought an audio to usb adapter because I thought that would fix the problem when I plugged the jack straight into the computer, and it worked. So now, I can go into voice memos and record my voice from this microphone and hear it through the headset I have plugged into the adapter as well. But when I go into FL Studio, I don't get any audio output or any microphone input. I have changed the audio input and output settings for the Mac many times and have done the aggregated device method as well (meaning only the microphone was connected to the adapter and I put the headphone jack in the dedicated port on the actual MacBook itself) with the same results. I have also changed the FL Studio audio Input/Output to the USB device and aggregated device and the same things happened.

I have seen that people on PC tend to use ASIO to fix this problem but the only thing I found on Image-Line was the aggregated device method and like I said earlier, that did not work.
