ASIO buffer size / no ASIO control panel

Dear Madam and Sir

I am a new customer, and wanted to set the buffer size for my ASIO device, but was not able to, because the function seems missing.
I am having an ASIO device (Digico S21 audio desk), that is not having an own ASIO control panel. Changes are ment to be done using the ASIO possibilities.
So it uses the module functions from ASIO:
With ASIOGetBufferSize() min, max and preferred buffer size are returned. Preferred is always the last used one.
Later then ASIOCreateBuffers creates the buffer.
FL Studio always seems to use the last/preferred size, which is quiet to big (usually a safe value).
Could it be possible to have an adjustable buffer size (between min and max buffer size) or am I just not finding the function in the software?
