FL 20 Play button and timeline crash

The play button or the timeline that is on the playlist will not work causing the application to crash but everything else will work on the playlist such as dragging samples and moving patterns for example and listening to individual patterns works as normal but listening on the playlist is not possible without crashing. The error has been occurring for 2 days now. To reproduce this error simply open a file and click the playlists timeline or the play button. This problem occurred with files saved up to 5 days but not any further. I am using Fl Studio 20.
