AKAI FIRE ACCESS VIOLATION HELP!

Hey so I just recently got the akai fire, and it was working perfectly the first day, but now whenever I try to adjust the velocity of a note or turn on accent mode, I get an access violation bug. My MIDI settings are set at port 235 as default. Does anyone know how to fix this??
