hi all,
a question - hopefully one can answer this. fyi, i am not using fl studio, but the vst version of edison (latest version) in studio one/reaper, etc.
- why does edison change the name of the region i export not only to the name i gave the marker, but adds the name i gave the marker to the name of the wave file? f.e. if my imported sample is called "bass c1", and i give the start marker the name "crunchy bass" - when dragging the file to the explorer, the resulting file on the harddrive is called "bass c1 - crunchy bass", instead of _only_ "crunchy bass".
so i tried using the properties dialog in edison... but:
- why is edison not taking over the sample properties title (which is there to rename the sample)? again, to stick with the above example - say the file i imported is called "bass c1". now, in edison, i call up the properties dialog and rename the sample to "crunchy bass" and hit accept. then i drag the file with the drag-handle to the desktop or any explorer folder - the resulting rendered wavefile is still called "bass c1".
this happens in studio one, reaper and energy xt, so i assume it's rather not all hosts doing it wrong...
could please someone clarify? what's wrong here?
thanks in advance,
brok landers
