Song is reading thousands of bars in length

I've been using FL for 20 years and never have I run into a problem such as this. While working on a song, seemingly at random the playlist display zoomed in to just the first bar and when trying to zoom out nothin happens. Incidentally when I go to render the song it reads as being over 500, 000 bars in length...which is ridiculous. Also some of the plugins are not playing back the way they should. I'm honestly stumped on this one. Any ideas?

**EDIT** I managed to reproduce the problem by removing some bars using Ctrl+Delete.
