no playback in FL20 using usb mixer

using FL Studio 20, trying to use my soundcraft signature 12 usb mixer as my playback device.
in audio settings I have changed FL Studio ASIO to Soundcraft usb audio ASIO.
i'm trying to use the usb return on the 11/12th channel of the usb mixer to get audio, but there no option to set sound output to this channel in the audio settings.
what am I missing here? seems like it should be simple to set up, but I just can't figure it out. the soundcraft mixer works well with my computer and all other programs and daws.
in short: help me figure out how to use my mixer as an audio interface to send to my monitor speakers.
please advise.
