Huge FPS drops

Hi,

I'm getting huge FPS drops (from initial 62FPS down to around 20FPS) as soon as I move a window (such as channel rack or mixer) in FL Studio both while playback and when idle.
The general settings (ultrasmooth etc) do not seem to have any impact on that behaviour. Also the scaled FL.exe seems to run a tad smoother in that regard, but it does not eliminate the problem unfortunately.

Is there anything else I can do on my end?

Side note: I've tested the same FL version in Bootcamp on my maxed out MacBook Pro 2019 (relatively similar specs as my windows rig listed below) without any of those problems occuring.

My system:

FL Studio 20.5.1 [build 1193]

Dell XPS 15 7590
Intel Core i9-9980HK @ 2.4Ghz
32GB RAM
Windows 10 Pro 64Bit
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
Dell SHP14B9 Display (built in) @ 3840 x 2160
Samsung 2TB SSD (OS, internal)
Samsung 4TB SSD (via USB 3)
UA Apollo Twin MKII via Thunderbolt 3
Logitech G 502 Mouse via Lightningspeed Dongle
