Directwave velocity has no effect on some midi channels but works on other

Hi,

As you can see from the video I'm using FL 20.6.2 on Windows. I've arranged various string samples into instruments in Directwave. For my violas, on MIDI channels 5 & 6, changing the velocity has no effect on the volume, whereas on all the other channels it works fine. I forgot to show it in the video but it's not the mod matrix, velocity is properly associated with voice gain.
