plugin states stopped loading

every time I open my current project one of the plugins gets an "error" and the state doesn't load. last time it was my free noise gate so I got rid of it from my project and replaced it with a transient shaper. now it won't load my $200 reverb plugin! I tried re-installing fl studio but that didn't help.
