Some patterns are playing some are not

I have done something to my project and now some patterns are playing and some are not. The drum channels are outputting sound perfectly, and the bass is too, but my other synths then are super tinny, like barely there. Nothing is muted or solo'ed. I am playing in Song mode, I updated to the latest version, it's only affecting this one project file. Tried a bunch of searches, can't figure it out. The project slider at the top of the playlist has also gone wonky, it used to function normally, now it doesn't slide across the whole project and there are coloured lines on it that aren't there on other projects. Wondering if the two problems are related.
