FL 20 MISSING CATEGORIES

As a newbie, ploughing through tutorial videos a mention was made of the GAIN category and PanOMatic on searching my installation (right click a channel and insert) there is no GAIN category only things like SYNTH CLASSIC, PATCHER etc. am I missing a setup option somewhere? :?
