We appreciate it's frustrating when things don't work as expected. However, please help us to help you by following these suggestions:

  1. Simple clear explanation - Explain what you are doing, or trying to do, and exactly what is happening.
  2. Update - Before trying anything else. Download and install the latest version of FL Studio from here. Your bug may be fixed already!
  3. Specific information - a) FL Studio version & build number, b) what you are doing and what happens exactly, c) step-by-step instructions how reproduce the problem.
  4. Screenshots - Another great way to demonstrate issues. Get a free screenshot app here. Include images using the 'Attachments' tab, at the bottom of the post edit window.
  5. A video - The best way of demonstrating many issues. Get a free recorder here. Include mp4 videos to your post from the 'Attachments' tab, at the bottom of the post edit window.
  6. Use English - Google Translate your post. Short simple sentences in your original language translate best. We are happy to work this way, no need to worry.

Unexpected/Strange underruns

Hello Everyone,

Every time I load up a project of any size, FL Studio counts usually 1 to 3 buffer underruns even though no sound is produced.

I've basically set up audio options as advised in troubleshooting faq but it seems to have no effect on this issue whatsoever. What is more, I can play songs without underruns, clicks or glitches in sound on even as low settings as 128 or 64 samples.

So, I'm asking whether this is normal behaviour or not in fl studio to have a few underruns when loading projects?

I'm not saying this is really a big issue, but it sure is irritating :/

Here are some of my specifications:
- Acer Travelmate 5520 laptop @ AMD M690G chipset
- Turion 64 x2 Mobile TL-58 @ 1.9 GHz
- 2 Gb of DDR2 RAM
- Windows Vista & FL Studio 7

My sound device is M-Audio's Firewire 410.

Any help is appreciated.
