I just tried to install the update from FL Studio 8 to Studio 10 and i got past the first few bugs during the installation that said "failed to open .exe file" I re-downloaded the program, ran the "remove FL registry settings" cleaned with CC cleaner, re-booted between every step, used the "add / remove programs" also installed without the "add/ remove programs" and this is day two or three. The Image line/ FL 10 folders show up in the Programs folder, but no dlls in the Vst folder. Nothing shows up in the programs list at Start, the buttons won't open it if I go into the FL 10 folder in the programs folder.
The Setup is frozen with the green progress bar totally filled up, but it won't say 100% and "next"
I have XP and I've been using Studio 8 for several years.
Anybody have a clue?
thanks
paul
