I recently upgraded the firmware on my vci-100, hoping to get a little more precision on the tempo fader. I ended getting the opposite. The fader didn't work at first. I got Deckadance to recognize input from the fader by using the midi learn function, but it no acts erratically. The pitch will adjust by odd amounts (+5%/-3.5% on deck A and +4.5%/-4% on deck B). These are just nice round numbers because it isn't consistent, and appears to be affected by how quickly I move the fader.
For now, I have the pitch adjustment assigned to a knob. But none of the knobs seem to register a true 0% pitch adjustment, so it's kind of a kludge where I'm always running a track a little fast or a little slow. I can make it work, but I want my pitch sliders back.
Anyone have any ideas?
