Please stop the "auto-switch and lock" to the ALL group behaviour

There are many situations where the channel rack auto-switches to the ALL group for no real reason but then doesn't auto-switch back to any filter group unless you select them manually.

I personally use groups because I don't want to see the ALL filter group. At all.

If it auto-switches to ALL, it should also auto-switch to my custom filter groups. Am I wrong?

Because using filter groups means exactly:
"I don't want to see all the channels at once, never, unless strictly needed".

Why does it forces me to manually switch back to my filter groups?

I'm aware about those cases where to show multiple channels that aren't grouped or are grouped on multiple groups it has to switch to the ALL group.
But if my whole channel rack is perfectly sorted/grouped/organized, why the heck I still have to see that damn ALL group??

I'm not asking for that recent feature that does exactly the opposite (locks the rack to a specific filter no matter what).
The real problem is that the ALL group is a dead end from which the channel rack can't switch back unless you do it manually.

E.g.
Press Ctrl+L (Select channel linked to this mixer track) and boom
Now you're in the All group even if there was just one channel already grouped into another filter group.

Hope I explained.

Thank you
