Quantize recorded automation

Hello to everyone,
as the title, i would like to suggest the possibility (along with the so requested "live midi quantization") to quantize a recorded automation. A lot of people here suggested a lot of great ideas on how to implement Automation clips etc, but i didn't read anything similar. I'll try to explain...
Something as the "Turn into Automation Clip" feature mixed with the controls of the Piano Roll Quantizer or the ones in the Create Sequence window.
Something like a menu that pops out automatically (or with a kb shortcut) after you record your modulation, showing you the automation inside the pattern or directly into the playlist. Then, as you tweak the "automation quantizer" it shows in real time the preview, similar to how visually works the Create Sequence window.
I don't have any visual example but i hope that was clear enough.
