It would be really, really nice if I could map certain MIDI activity (besides Note on and CC) freely to FL Studio.
At the moment I am playing with my new Behringer Deepmind 12 (set as generic controller). On program change, it sends some sysex, cc and nrpn...which results in FL Studio changing the active channel in the channel rack. Really annoying.
Instead of creating fixedwired templates for some popular MIDI controllers out there, wouldn't it be cool to define in FL Studio "Device sends X, so do Y"? A set of these definitions could be saved as a template as well, not taking anything away, but would give users freedom.
For example, I would die for a function like "Receive something (CC, NRPN or sysex) and, if it's an FL plugin, goto next/previous preset"...
