It would be awesome if you had a tool similar to the pro-tools tool called "strip silence". Yes i know the manual way to do is to use the slice tool, but that is cumbersome when time is important. For example, if i use the Strip silence tool, most of the time i do not have to make small cuts in the vocal because the strip silance tool is very accurate. It wont cut of the ends of words as long as you adjust the settings. If i cut off a breath from the vocal this should be there i just add it back rather fumbling around in the DAW to get the vocal track back.
Please please take a look at this. If you implement something like this you will take FL to the next level some might even leave pro tools all together. I use FL often for customers i work with so, it pains me when i have to mix vocals down in FL. Thats not to say FL has not come a long way because it has. I love it. it is a pleasure to use. just cumbersome for certain workflows.
