Currently it is assigned to a feature i believe nobody uses ( fine shifting of events ) and because this is always used for Vertical expansion ( alongside the Ctrl+MouseWheel ) in all other software ( like graphics design and others ), this will keep the artistic flow going better
Also now people coming from other softwares will want to try the Shift+MouseWheel, which will fill up all undo history with 100 events for an accidental try, because FL already has the Ctrl+MouseWheel implemented - kind of leading you to think, you can also do the Vertical Zoom with MouseWheel
So this way we could remove an un used feature that likely causes hassle for many, and implement one that people will easily adapt as a part of their workflow, because Ctrl+MouseWheel becomes natural once you try it a couple times
( a beautiful way to zoom in and out Ctrl/Shift+MouseWheel )
Would it be possible to get the Shift+MouseWheel to work Vertical Zoom ( like in most Graphics Design software ) ?
