Workflow improvement: start offset, pre-shifted mode

I've got an idea for "basic" but quite helpful workflow improvement. Lot of one-shots (claps, snares) and lot of FXs (woosh-bangs), before the main transient have some kind of sweep. They are "pre-shifted" as many people say. They can sound great, but unfortunately using them can be a bit annoying. In FL Studio there are two main ways to use them and both are quite troublesome.

First
Problems:
- You need to align it by ear
- Does't look good (it's not intuitive to place it before)
- Any tempo change will break the alignment

Second
Problems:
- You need to do it outside of a pattern
- Any tempo change will break the alignment (if you don't want to use stretch modes)

Extending the functionality of the already existing "start offset" knob in the sampler, seems like the easier way to make using pre-shifted samples way easier and faster. If user could just set a point where the transient occurs, sample could be in place even after the tempo is changed. This would solve all problems mentioned above. Example usage below:
