New "Edit Events" line editor

Hi,

Although "Edit Events" and "Edit Events in Piano Roll" might not seem very useful anymore since we have Automation Clips, I still use this feature when I want to draw an automation that has the length of the pattern that starts every time the patterns plays. I find it much cleaner than having a bunch of identical automation clips that I group with their respective pattern clips, and so on...

The problem is that, at least in my opinion, the Edit Events window and Edit Event in Piano Roll is a real pain to use compared to modern automation clips. Here's how it looks like today:

So my idea was to replace the old-school graph-type editors with standard FL line editors, like the ones used in Automation Clips and lots of native FL plugins.

Here's a rough picture showcasing my idea:

The same concept would apply for the Edit Events window, basically a full-screen modern line editor.
Regarding backwards compatibility, I presume it wouldn't be that difficult to convert from the old style to the new style, as any shape you could draw before could still be upgraded to the new format utilizing of all those different line editor curve types, or even step-editing pencil drawing.
