It's a hassle to have to go to a dropdown menu, go to a sub menu, and change the snap, each time you wanna make some triplets or hi-hat rolls.
I have a few different suggestions on how it could be made more efficient.
Option #1
CTRL + ALT + Scroll
To change snap. As far as I know, this combination isn't used for anything else (it just scrolls like regular CTRL + Scroll)
Option #2
Scrolling in reveals more of the smaller divisions (like the defualt one, except it can go down to 1/64), and having a Hotkey to toggle triplet snapping. (like SHIFT + P or something unused)
Option #3
SHIFT + SCROLLBUTTON opens Circular selection menu to change snap.
Open a circular menu around the cursor when a key combination or mouse combination is pressed, that has multiple options for snap. Right Click to cancel, Scroll to change between triplet snap and 4/4 snap, and could even be expanded in the future to provide even more options based on where you click it (say activating the circular menu on a clip or playlist)
