I wish I could record audio input directly into FPC and assign it to a pad

So here's my thought...

I was playing around with my new MX88 and was absolutely going to record the drum samples off of it and try making my own FPC kit that I can link with my nanoPAD.

Long story short, I wish I could record audio input directly into FPC and assign it to a pad

I wish there was more sample manipulation options (like time-stretching, Precomputed effects, and filters) in the layer options pane in FPC. It would be super useful; I would use nothing else. If I could record and edit a sample directly in FPC I could make the best drum kits ever.
