advanced audio editing within playlist

I work with instruments and love FL Studio for writing scratches and demos. However, I am forced to edit audio in Reaper or Reason because editing within Edison is a pain, mainly because it is hard to align with other instruments and also some features are missing. Flipping between the playlist window to check where things may not be lined by beat or measure is really not convenient.

Being able to also edit multiple wave forms at once, slip edit audio, copy paste pieces of wave forms as well would be highly useful in helping me ditch multiple DAWs.

This would make it very easy for me to fix takes when recording. And or make custom edits.

That would be useful for drum editing or making custom drum tracks from loops, or even just fixing bad notes in a take where earlier there was a good section.

Being able to tab transients with multiple wave forms as well.
