Mockup: Effects Slot Window (like Ableton)

Access a stripped down version of FL Native effects plugins from an effect window, kinda like Ableton. This allows a person to not have to access the mixer as frequently for quick small changes. Combined with the Accessing Mixer Features from linked playlist tracks idea, this allows greatly improved workflow. *This does not replace the mixer, however it makes it so that we don't have to always access the mixer for something simple like this.

Benefits include:
  • Not having to open 6 different effect windows for simple and quick adjustments (at least when it's an FL Native effect plugin that is). This improves productivity speed greatly.
When a VST is added as an effect, it may be possible to add it to the window, but show thumbnail preview instead (like the plugin picker). Clicking on it will just open the interface (what else can we do?!). Edit: Actually, you can add the ability to use control surface for 3rd party VST's and link the control surface controls to VST controls. This will allow 3rd party VST makers to make their own GUI, and also users can make their own custom GUI as well

I realize it's kind of an Ableton ripoff, but such a feature would be invaluable when combined with other improvements to the playlist. Since the workflow is closer to Ableton's (and people already have access to a piano roll window, so they can move that wherever they want), it comes much closer to a wonderful workflow (hey, maybe it can attract more users!)

Similar but potentially same idea (noted here for consolidation purposes)::
