Personally I use the built-in EQ primarily for lo- and hi-cut clean-up duties, due to the restricted precision. More advanced EQing kind of calls for a PEQ2 or other plug-in.
In order to speed up workflow it would be very useful if there were lo- and hi-cut buttons to avoid having to add plugs for such a routine task.
