Opening projects on older versions of FL Studio

I think it is very annoying. The fact that if you can open projects from an old version into a new version of FL Studio, but you can't do it reversed. So when you collab with someone once he took some small edits using a newer version of FL Studio, you have to update your FL Studio too. And I know not anyone likes updates all the time. Also, when you are a child and your parents have the admin rights to your computer, you might also need permission from your parents to update. And that could be very annoying to do everytime.

So here is a simple solution. What if (from the upcoming updates at least) you can open projects made in newer versions of FL Studio. Of course you will get a warning message that some data can be lost. This can allow you to collab with people without needing to have the same version of FL Studio.
