Two Bad Shortcuts

One is a menu problem. Edison definitely has it, and I think seen it elsewhere.
When you have a large menu, the mouse is suddenly trapped there. You can no longer continue moving to the right to the other buttons.
So you have to carefully dodge the large menus to jump over to anything to the right of them, or you're in a pitfall where you have to click out of it to try again. There must be a better way.

Do this test yourself. Say you want to use the 'Center' feature in the tools menu.
Open the tools menu. It's a long list. As your mouse is going downwards, accidently go too far to the left.
The other menu just opened. And now you can't get back. Yup, now you've done it. You're screwed now.
How annoying is that.

...

The Right Shift on the keyboard is an overlap shortcut.
Duplicating events should be numbed on that side because it should be reserved for slicing only.
You have to find an empty place on your grid to start slicing because of this problem.
Duplicate already exists on the left shift, why does it have to be on the right shift too, making another shortcut ten times more difficult?
