Ungrouping playlist tracks since update 20.9

Hello there,

since the new 20.9 update, ungrouping playlist tracks doesn't work properly anymore and I'd like to ask if this is a new feature or just a bug.
If I ungroup a track, it doesn't just create a new group with the grouped tracks underneath. Instead, it automatically jumps to the bottom of the group. If this is a feature, I don't understand how this would be practical. I often personally want to divide a big group into two smaller ones at a specific point. Now I need to create a completely new group and move every pattern/audio clip/automation down/up to the new tracks.
Or maybe there is a faster new way of doing that?
