Saving Edison Edits to Track

don't know if this has already been suggested, but when i'm editing a track with Edison and i right-click "send to playlist as audio clip" it directly changes that audio clip to what i just edited, which is great

however what i'm finding confusing is that it also changes the name of the clip when all i want is to edit the audio of the clip, not the name. if i'm just modifying a current audio clip there's absolutely no reason why the name should change as well

also if i'm left-clicking "send to playlist as audio clip" then yes, i understand the name needs to change since i'm creating a new version of an existing clip, however the name it assigns to the new clip is some random name that in no way is related to the name of the original clip. i think it would make a lot more sense if it changed the name of the new clip to the same as the old clip, but add "#2" to the end (just like when you clone or make a pattern unique) so you know what the new clip is related to by it's name
