Locking a knob/slider/parameter from recording

Hello. It would be quite a neat function to "lock" or to stop a parameter from recording, whilst you're doing a take. "Right click --> do not record this automation"

Example

I'm recording some keyboard playing, along with some mod wheel movement, but my metronome is off, or too loud, so i adjust it's volume, but now it's recorded that data in.

That would be cool to stop this happening.


OR/AND there could be a right click function where you can "add this to automation recording" which could be a per take list of things that arm for recording, and you can choose to disarm them automatically, or not, much like the audio recording.
