When using Kontakt multi's and controlling each channel with a MIDI out or BRSO plugin, one comes across a few hurdles.
1- Naming Mixer channels is a pain. As the midi channels can't be technically linked to a mixer channel, it also means you can't auto name. Not a huge problem, but it is a little annoying. You need to middle click the channel/playlist track, copy the name/colour settings, and paste into each mixer track. It's very tedious when you open up a 16 out kontakt plugin with 16 midi channels attached to have to keep re naming everything.
2- Playlist track headers audio meters don't behave properly. If you play one channel, they all light up. As you can see in this pic, the mixer track lights up witht he one you're playing, but the playlist just shows every channel has an output. When it doesn't. This is an otherwise blank project
3- Double clicking the playlist track header, opens up the midi channel of course, but it would be cool if somehow you could choose to open up the channel the midi out is linked to (Kontakt in this instance) This would make it easier and quicker to edit sounds you're playing. I know that currently there is no "link" other than MIDI out. But maybe there's a way around this?
